This match was not recorded appropriately due to technical issues. We sincerely apologize to the readers of this coverage website and more importantly, to our brilliant competitors, SMG and DARRYL.
You can find the results of this match and the contestants’ post-game interview below.
DARRYL: “SMG is a friend of mine, we fought a lot during the trip here so we were pretty used to each other’s fighting styles. It was a lot of fun.”
True warriors gain their strength not just through tough battles against fearsome enemies, but also by training with friends. After exhausting flights, on a cab ride, or even under the spotlights of the Las Vegas stage, it seems indifferent to DARRYL and SMG where the site is. Wherever there’s a warrior to battle with, they’ll take it!
SMG: “All three matches were pretty close. We both put up a good fight.”
DARRYL: “We understand each other’s moves now, so who got the better timing took the game.”
Timing is always one of the most difficult factors to master in different kinds of video games, and in a game like Dragon Ball Legends where Vanishing, character switches, Arts Card selections and various real-time inputs are required, the timing element is even more game-changing.
SMG: “I usually try to play offensively, most of my wins are when I start attacking and making a comeback, but DARRYL is good with timing, like Vanishing and Charge Steps.”
DARRYL: “I play pretty much the opposite of him. I wait for my opponent’s opening and counterattack. But after playing quite a few times with him, he understood when I was going to attack.”
Albeit having different combat styles, they share a common goal.
The journey ends here for DARRYL, and SMG who grows stronger with each match he puts on will advance to the LOSERS ROUND 3!
